Professional Role(s) and qualifications:
I hold an LGSW license in West Virginia and an Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (AADC) certification. I offer individual, group, and family therapy to youth ages 12-25. We also offer an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adolescents ages 12-17 and adults ages 18+ who meet specific ASAM criteria.

Training in CBT-E:
CBT-E certification from Rebecca Murphy at CREDO through University of Oxford. Training completed January 10th 2025.

Clinical Practice and Supervision:
Early Diversion therapy is my main clinical interest. I enjoy working with individuals ages 12-25 who are at risk of incarceration/out-of-home placement/recidivism. I use CBT, DBT, somatic techniques, and other trauma-informed modalities, activities, and techniques to help youth improve their quality of life (current and future).

Research:
Research interests include Attachment Theory, college students, and relationships between youth criminal offenses and future incarceration as an adult.
Accepted to SEPA Conference in 2020 to present research and questionnaire on attachment theory as it relates to homesickness in college students through West Virginia University-Institute of Technology. *cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Presented at Concord University for research with Dr. Raymond Smith: “Differentiating Delinquency and the Relationship with Adult Arrest” 2023.
