Clinical Practice and Supervision:
I am a warm and compassionate Clinical Psychologist who has been practicing for 17 years (including doctoral training). I have been a Principal Clinical Psychologist in the NHS since 2016 for a CAMHS Community Eating Disorders Service which I set up. I am immensely proud of this service and all that it achieved. I now work in private practice in order to achieve a better work life balance for me and my family. I see adults (including young adults 16+) with any kind of eating difficulty (primarily Anorexia Nervosa) and any associated comorbidities. My primary therapy modality for eating difficulties is CBT-E. I am also highly skilled in supporting family members or partners in the recovery journey. I offer support for a range of other difficulties such as anxiety, self-criticism/perfectionism, and OCD, using a formulation and evidence based approach with various therapeutic modalities (e.g. CBT, RO-DBT, systemic, narrative). I worked individually with young people in our NHS service and also provided CBT-E supervision to other psychologists and therapists in the multi-disciplinary team.
