Clinical Practice and Supervision:
I provide CBT-E for adults dealing with binge eating disorder, bulimia nervosa, or other specified eating disorders.
I also specialize in providing:
-CBT (especially ERP) for anxiety and OCD
-CBT-I for insomnia
-Comprehensive Behavioral (ComB) Treatment for body-focused repetitive disorders (e.g., skin picking, hair pulling, etc.)
I frequently integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), particularly its focus on values and learning other ways to relate to our thoughts and emotions, into my work with individuals.
I am familiar with New Maudsley Skills Training for family members and caregivers of loved ones with eating disorders and am happy to help connect family members with these resources.
I am licensed in Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, and New York and can provide virtual therapy to individuals physically located in these states.
I am in network with many United Healthcare/Optum and Aetna insurance plans, as well as BCBS of IL PPO plans and Anthem BCBS of NY.
I hold an Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) granted by the PSYPACT Commission.

My research interests include self-determination theory, caregivers and partners, rehabilitation psychology, and self-compassion.
