Training in CBT-E:
As I’ve just recently joined the eating disorder camhs team I haven’t completed any cbt based training and been advised by my team leader to enrol in this course for my personal professional development and work with young people with eating disorders.
Clinical Practice and Supervision:
I previously worked as a community psychiatric nurse and am a thorn practitioner but as I’ve recently moved to camhs my current interests are in approaches and interventions used to help adolescants and their family who are experiencing eating disordered behaviours.
Research:
Previous interests and experience was working with individuals who had a serious mental illness and their families and carers. I have a specialist practice degree in psychology social interventions and forensic mental health
