Professional Role(s) and qualifications:
Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Chartered Member of the BPS

Training in CBT-E:
Having attended CBT-E training in 2008, I have continued to develop my skills by attending a wide variety of training and workshops in both CBT and other evidence-based treatment approaches for those with eating disorders. I have also received ongoing specialist eating disorder supervision throughout that period.

Clinical Practice and Supervision:
I have 15 years experience of working with adults with all types of eating disorders in outpatient settings (both NHS and private). Throughout that period, I have offered clinical supervision to counselling and clinical psychologists, trainees, and other care health care professionals. Most recently, as Clinical Director of a private outpatient eating disorder clinic, I ran the trainee psychologist programme, offering individual and group supervision sessions and internal training in CBT-E.

Research:
I have been involved in various research projects in eating-disorder related areas, including maternal eating disorders, eating disorders and excessive exercise, and offering DBT groups for people with bulimia nervosa and binge eating disorder.
