Tina Sherry, Psy.D., Director of NJCCBT, and a team of 5 other therapists trained in CBT-E, FBT, IPT, and DBT.
Training in CBT-E:
I was trained by G. Terence Wilson at Rutgers University, and after working at the Rutgers Eating Disorders Clinic, was a therapist in one of his multi-site treatment studies of binge eating disorder. Lauren Todd was trained by Katharine Loeb at Farleigh Dickinson University, and our other therapists have completed the online CBT-E training.
Clinical Practice and Supervision:
The North Jersey Center for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, LLC is a team of 6 therapists in private practice, all providing evidence-based treatment for eating disorders.
Research:
We are not doing research at this time, but hope to as our center expands and we take on interns and post-doctoral students.
