Professional Role(s) and qualifications:
I am a senior dietitian working with Priory group of hospitals. I work with patients with ED- both AN and BN, also BED and addictions.
I work alongside, Doctors, Nurses, Clinical psychologists, social workers, art therapists and family therapists.
Training in CBT-E:
Not done a CBT training since a while.
Clinical Practice and Supervision:
Eating disorders- both anorexia and bulimia.
I enjoy 1:1 and group sessions for nutritional talks. I have been working in Eating disorders unit for 5 yrs. Yes I provide clinical supervision to junior dietitians and colleagues.
Research:
I have special interest in research and in the past I have worked to provide expert advise to NICE Guideon Ulcerative Colitis. I have co-authored “Evidence based research guidelines for Dietitians on the topic of IBS” and authored chapters in “Manual of Dietetics” – the main text book for Dietetics courses in universities.
