Clinical Practice and Supervision:
I specialise in eating disorders, having been the Service Manager and lead CBT therapist at Derbyshire Eating Disorder Service until my retirement in October 2020. I currently supervise CAMHS IAPT students and lecture on eating disorders for Derbyshire university and 3 other adult CBT therapists working for both the NHS and in private practice.
I have a small private practice of my own and currently see people online due to Covid restrictions. I am experienced in all mental health disorders having worked in the mental health field for over 40 years. I work in a collaborative manner with clients and adhere to all NICE and BABCP guidelines
Research:
I don’t have any publications, I am particularly interested in working with the LGBTQ+ community and have a number of years experience of working in this area.
