Clients seen:
I deliver intensive and outpatient enhanced cognitive behavior therapy (CBT-E) for adolescents and adults with eating disorders in a private clinical center.

Training in CBT-E:
I attended website training in CBT-E for Eating Disorders in 2016 and the First certificate in eating disorder and obesity in 2004. I have partecipated a several workshop about CBT-E Credo

Clinical Practice and Supervision:
Dr. Federici is a Clinical Psychologist, the Owner and Clinical Director of MidlandDBT, and a registered member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She is the (elected) Co-Chair for the Suicide and DBT Special Interest Group for the Academy of Eating Disorders. Anita has more than 20 years of experience in the field and has an established reputation for her work as a therapist, clinical trainer, researcher, program director and consultant. She has provided more than 75 workshops on DBT and/or eating disorder and worked with numerous hospitals and organizations in North America to implement evidence-based treatment. In 2018, she was nominated as Business Woman of the Year for the Meridian Women of Excellence Awards. Dr. Federici is a recognized authority on eating disorder treatment and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT). Her work has been presented at international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals and invited book chapters.
