Clients seen:
I work with adults (18+) individually, in private practice. I specialise in working with people experiencing eating disorders (including symptoms of bulimia, anorexia, binge eating, and avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder or ARFID), body image issues, anxiety, panic attacks and agoraphobia, and work affirmatively with LGBTQ+ clients with a range of difficulties. Other difficulties I am confident and competent working with include: Low self-esteem, self-criticism, health anxiety, social anxiety, stress, perfectionism, managing emotions, low mood, experiences of adversity and trauma (both single incident and complex trauma), PTSD, self harm, suicidal thoughts, and supporting neurodiverse clients (particularly autistic clients and those with ADHD).

Professional Training:
I completed an MSc in Psychological Therapy in Primary Care, awarded by the University of Dundee in 2022. I am a full member of the British Psychological Society (membership number 825031). My previous qualifications include an MSc in the Psychology of Mental Health (Conversion) awarded by the University of Edinburgh in 2017 (Distinction), and a certiciate in counselling skills from Iron Mill College, Exeter in 2016.

Training in CBT-E:
I attended Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders (including ARFID) training with Glen Waller in 2022, equivalent to 22.5 hours of CPD. This was delivered online and I attended through my work at the time, which was a psychological therapy team within North Lanarkshire NHS.
